2022年に発表した酸化ルテニウムナノシートの構造に続き、酸化イリジウムナノシートと酸化白金ナノシートの構造解析に成功し、これらすべてがTransition metal dichalcogenideと同じファミリーであることを解明した論文。これまではTMDレベルの電子状態の議論が不可能であったが、これで現代の材料科学のレベルで物性や機能が理解でき、構造の視点での様々なアナノロジーを含めた議論が可能になった。
