ジルコニウムオキソクラスターから酸化ジルコニウム結晶(蛍石構造)がトポケミカルな反応で、最小ユニットであるZr6クラスターを維持したまま、その縮合で結晶が形成されることを突き止めた論文。通常では見られない欠陥が大量に入り、電子スピンが観測されるのを始めて見出しました。
