説明:
(abstract)This paper examines the effect of pressure on the angular-dependent magnetoresistance and Shubnikov–de Haas (SdH) oscillations in the organic conductor beta”-(ET)(TCNQ), where ET and TCNQ represent bis(ethylenedithio)tetrathiafulvalene and tetracyanoquinodimethane. At 0 kbar, three anomalies in the interlayer resistance are observed at approximately 174 K, 72 K, and 22 K. Below 22 K, both Yamaji oscillations and a periodic dip structure, caused by a commensurability effect, are seen at high magnetic fields. When the pressure increases to 2.0 kbar, the first anomaly is suppressed, and the other two shift to lower temperatures, with similar oscillations and dip structures remaining below 22 K. At 5.1 kbar, the third anomaly disappears, and only the dip structure is observed, indicating it is due to a commensurability effect between a possible 4kF charge-density wave in the TCNQ layers and the interlayer lattice potential. No Yamaji oscillations are detected at 5.1 kbar, but a higher SdH frequency suggests a magnetic breakdown orbit in the undulated Fermi surface from the ET layers. The study establishes the temperature-pressure phase diagram of beta”-(ET)(TCNQ) based on resistance measurements.
