(abstract)

Less than two decades ago aluminium plasmonics emerged and attractedgreat interest. Aluminium nanoparticles were produced on fused silica sub-strates by the direct picosecond laser deposition technique. The as preparedactive substrates were used for the first time to 355 nm surface-enhanced Ra-man spectroscopy to detect coconut milk as a probe analyte. The μ-Ramanspectrum was also applied for comparison and the transmission spectrum of the aluminium nanoparticles array was checked.
