Description:
(abstract)The tensile properties and long-term creep strength of KA-SUS321J2HTB were compared with those of KA-SUS304J1HTB, KA-SUS310J1TB, and ASME TP347HFG steels. The 0.2% proof stress and tensile strength of KA-SUS321J2HTB were lower than or equal to those of the other three steels at high temperatures. The tensile ductility of KA-SUS321J2HTB was almost the same as that of the other three steels up to 650°C. The reduction of area in the tensile test decreased at 700 to 800°C for KA-SUS321J2HTB. Creep strength degradation was clearly observed in the long-term for KA-SUS321J2HTB, similar to KA-SUS304J1HTB and KA-SUS310J1TB. However, the creep strength of KA-SUS321J2HTB was higher than those of the other three steels at 650 to 750°C. The same tendency was recognized in the relationship between stress and minimum creep rate. The creep rupture ductility of KA-SUS321J2HTB gradually decreased with increasing time to rupture, as observed for the other three steels.
