ダイヤモンドにある窒素空孔(NV)中心は、非常に有望な量子核磁気共鳴(NMR)センサーです。しかし、表面不純物やアバランシェフォトダイオードからのショットノイズ、量子システム固有のスピン状態投影誤差により、性能が制限されます。NMR信号を検出するためには、データを十分に蓄積するために長時間の測定が必要です。そこで、NMR信号検出のための蓄積時間を短縮する方法が求められています。この論文では、量子ヘテロダインNMR測定のための最大尤度推定(MLE)信号処理のオンライン手法を紹介し、蓄積必要時間を大幅に短縮し、リアルタイムで周波数の正確な推定を可能にします。この成果は、広範囲を調べる際に迅速に信号を確認する必要があるNMR検出の実践者にとって重要です。
