Description:

(abstract)

Description:

(abstract)

High-strength aerogels with microfabricated surfaces were prepared by compositing melamine resin and boehmite nanofibers. The resulting composite aerogel exhibited low thermal conductivity. The aerogel can be applied to optical materials because the surface shape of the aerogel can be converted to transparent or blackbody one by heat treatment while maintaining the surface shape.
