(abstract)

Nanomaterials’ research plays an important role in solving problems and improving our lives in every aspect of technology. In this context, a lot of research endeavors have been devoted to providing several promising strategies to manufacturing surfaces and coatings based on nanostructured materials to enhance structural properties of surfaces as well as physical and chemical properties. As is notable, the design of nanostructured thin-layer films, surfaces and coatings occupies a privileged position in numerous applications associated with the environmental, energy, and biological applications.
