## Description

- description: Actinodaphne angustifolia (Lauraceae), traditionally used for treating
inflammatory and allergic disorders, was investigated for its anti-allergic potential
using integrated in vivo and in silico approaches. Safety evaluation in accordance
with OECD guidelines confirmed the non-toxic nature of the ethanolic leaf extract.
In a toluene 2,4-diisocyanate-induced allergic model, the extract reduced allergic
symptoms, including sneezing, nasal scratching, and nasal scores, also normalizing
elevated white blood cell counts in blood and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid.
