- description: LaMnO₃（LMO）超薄膜と、NbをドープしたSrTiO₃（STO）基板および非ドープSTO基板との界面における局所的な分極と電荷移動を、共鳴表面X線回折を用いて調査した。この「光子入射-光子放出」技術では、放射線損傷を最小限に抑えながら、価数分布と局所分極を同時に解析することが可能である。これにより、基板と薄膜の界面にMn²⁺が存在することが確認された。さらに、電荷移動の程度はNbドープの有無にほとんど依存しないことが分かった。一方、LMO薄膜の中央部ではMnの価数は3+を示した。局所分極の測定結果によると、LMO薄膜内部では電場が外向きに指向しており、STO基板領域では分極が抑制されていることが明らかになった。
