(abstract)

In this study, we attempted to predict the continuous cooling transformation (CCT) curve of α-phase in β-supersaturated solid solution of a Ti-6Al-2Sn-4Zr-2Mo (mass%) alloy cooled at a constant rate from 1273 K in order to predict the precipitation in super thermal field during additive manufacturing by energetics (and simple kinetics) using the minimum necessary known basic data. As a result, we were able to reproduce the precipitation of the α-phase at 1200 K for around 10 s. However, the calculated precipitation start time of α-phase overestimated larger temperature dependence than in the experiment.
