- description: We report firstly the amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) and lasing
    from blue-emitting silicon nanoclusters. The lasing threshold is determined as
    1.8 mJ/pulse and the emission is peaking at 434 nm. The laser-induced emission
    experiments demonstrated in this study encourage further development of solution-processed
    fabrication of colloidal silicon quantum dot laser.
