(abstract)

We showed that a typical (for perovskite) GdFeO3-type centrosymmetric Pnma model can explain the observed powder X-ray diffraction data and describe the average structure of Hg0.75Pb0.25MnO3 instead of a new polar model. This fact would alter many conclusions and claims of the commented paper.
