(abstract)Devices that support the coming future quantum society can be fabricated from unknown materials. New discoveries by materials scientists will be the key to “quantum materials” that support the foundations of our future. Therefore, in this WPI round-table discussion, we had materials scientists from WPI-MANA and WPI-AIMR (Advanced Institute for Materials Research, Tohoku University) discuss the current status and prospects of quantum materials. Researchers continue to explore the invisible nano world while thinking about unknown materials that emerge from various “individual characteristics of materials.”
