(abstract)erovskite hydrides, known for their structure-sensitive properties and high elemental substitution capabilities, offer an ideal platform for exploring exotic hydride materials. In this study, we use the H-radical reactive infrared laser deposition method to synthesize MLiH3 (M: Sr, Ba) perovskite hydride epitaxial thin films. We determined the optimum conditions in our experimental setup for growing well-ordered, single-phase MLiH3(100) thin films. We demonstrate the potential of perovskite hydride epitaxial thin films for future materials exploration by measuring the intrinsic hydride-ion conduction of a SrLiH3(100) thin film.
