説明:
(abstract)Prolongation of a pure dephasing time of a qubit by coupling with another one with longer dephasing times is theoretically studied.
The analysis is performed for a paired-qubit, both of which interact in an anisotropic Heisenberg manner, using the Lindblad master equation.
The pure dephasing time is found to be a nontrivially increasing function of in-plane but not longitudinal components of the interaction, and to saturate finally, where a strong coupling-like state of those qubits is suggested.
The two-qubit system well suits NVー centers in diamond where one (the other) is that located at a surface of (embeded inside) the diamond, so that
feasible experiments with the centers are proposed to test the results.
The finding would offer a solution to challenge in applications of those qubits.
