## Title

- title: Reproducible DNA thin films prepared by laser molecular beam deposition for
    water detection
  title_type: original
  lang: en

## Description

- description: Reliable, accurate, and quick detection of trace amounts of water is
crucial in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries. We previously
developed a highly sensitive and selective water sensor surpassing the industry
standard Karl Fischer titration in simplicity and efficiency. Here, we present
laser molecular beam deposition (LMBD) fabrication of the water sensor, as an
approach for mass-production of standardized and consistent units. The LMBD-fabricated
sensor demonstrates altered morphology, but the sensor maintains high sensitivity
    and selectivity for detecting water.
