- description: '2008年11月に運用が始まった、NIMS eSciDocシステムの研究者ユーザとして、研究成果の発信に活用した例を紹介する。学術論文の著者最終稿であっても、それを公開する意味は大きく、ダウンロード数データは雑誌の購読契約を結んでいない読者層(専門外の読者や文系研究者)の存在を浮かび上がらせる。また、研究に関連した画像の配信は、専門外の読者の興味を惹きつける効果が大きい。研究者にセルフアーカイブする習慣を根付かせるためには、自発的にやりたくなる／真似したくなる仕掛けをシステムに組み込むことが必要である。反響を可視化し、面倒な仕事を楽にする機能(例えば執筆支援機能)を提供するのが鍵であろう。
